Forage Production Revenue Protection Insurance Program - Live Webinar Date: Tuesday, August 11, 2026 Time: 11:00 AM PDT
Just approved! For the first time, many forage farmers have access to the new Forage Production Revenue Protection insurance program, providing protection against yield and price losses. With a September 30 sales closing date for most program states (October 31 in California), farmers, crop insurance agents, and industry professionals are encouraged to learn how the program works in time for this year's enrollment.
This free educational webinar will provide an overview of the new insurance program, including eligible forage crops and alfalfa mixtures, coverage options, premium estimates, production record requirements, how projected and harvest prices are determined, enrollment deadlines, written agreements, and real-world examples of how coverage and indemnities are calculated. Participants attending the live webinar will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to members of the product development team.
